On the ground floor there are adults" department, children"s and youth department and a small musical corner. On the first floor there is a reading room, where you can find hundreds titles of periodicals and newspapers. There are also regional collection, sound library and four computers with internet access for the public. There is also office of director of the library Pavel Zajíc on the first floor. Spiral staircase leads up to the wooden attic gallery.

Location of the library on the right bank of the Bečva river takes advantage of good link to the path from Masaryk"s square to the Wallachian museum, housing estate Písečná, elementary schools, health centre and bus station to the close villages (map).
